Liam Gallaghers "Beady Eye" album debuts at number 3

Former Oasis frontman released his new bands debut album last week which worked its way into the Top 3 in the first week.  The new album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' made it to number 3 on the album charts at the end of week charts, missing out on a UK Number 1 by albums by Adele and Jessie J.

The band have vowed they will not be playing any Oasis songs in their set as they claimed in a recent interview with the Daily Record, guitarist Andy Bell said "It just doesn't seem right to play those songs without Noel there. He wrote most of those classic tunes. That's what Oasis was."
