Green Day's American Idiot ticket sales drop after Billie Joe Armstrong leaves cast

Green Day frontman Billy Joe Armstrong ended his time on the cast of the Broadway musical in New York.

Since AFI's Davey Havok took over the role on February 27th, interest in the show has dropped significantly according to Billboard.com.  Ticket sales reportedly dropped from $1.3 Million to just $395,000, box office figures in New York like this could see the show closing.    When Billy Joe Armstrong first joined the cast ticket sales jumped up 50%.
