The U2 scored Spider Man musical delayed until June

Mon, 14 Mar 2011

Originally scheduled to open late last year, it was postponted until early 2011, reports at the time said to avoid the Christmas holidays, was then given a mid-March opening date.

The producers of the 'Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark' musical have confirmed a new date as June 14th for the show to open to the public on New York's Broadway.  However the previews scheduled between April 19th and May 11th have been cancelled to 'allow rehearsal time'.

So far it doesn't look good for the musical after many setbacks, cast injuries, financial problems cast and team changes and previews of the musical have also been less than complimentary already.
