The lawsuit for $20 million for using the song in Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock has been given the go ahead when it went to court on March 10th. The complaint is listed as "Simply put, the association between Slash and Guns N’ Roses ended almost 15 years ago. Rose resists any attempts to revive or strengthen this past association."Axl Rose claims that game maker Activision promised not to use images of Slash in the game when he agreed to let them use the GNR hit song 'Welcome To The Jungle'.

The trial against Activision is scheduled for January 23rd 2012.
