My Chemical Romance, The Strokes and Muse to headline Reading & Leeds Festivals in August

My Chemical Romance will make a return to the Reading & Leeds Festival stages for the first time after their famous 2006 appearance as they performed "The Black Parade" they were pelted with bottles of urine from the crowd frontman Gerard Way called out into the crowd, "This song is called thanks for all the bottles! Thanks for all the piss, thanks for all the golf balls, thanks for all the apples and thanks for all the sticky shit.” 

My Chemical Romance will kick off the weekend has Friday headliners at Reading, and will then head to Leeds for the Saturday night slot.

Also headlining the weekend will be The Stokes & Pulp (co-headliners) will headline Reading on Saturday then close out Leeds Festival on the Sunday. Whilst Muse will open up Leeds Festival as headliners before closing out the main stage on Sunday at Reading festival.
