The rumours are still buzzing around the vacancy for t
he new singer in Velvet Revolver and bassist Duff McKagan is keeping the fires burning as he revealed in an interview with Music Radar that the band have recorded with Stone Sour/Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor.
In January drummer Matt Sorum hinted that Corey Taylor could be the bands replacement for Scott Weiland, although the rumours have not been confirmed, they have also not been denied, now Duff McKagan has added that "We recorded a bunch of songs with Corey. I think he's fucking great – he's the best voice of a new generation and I'd be proud to do anything with him."

Although Corey Taylor has recorded songs with the band, they are still keeping tight lipped about him becoming a permanent member or not and adds, "The truth is, I can't see Velvet Revolver happening until fall," he said. "Slash is touring, I'm just starting to tour – we'll just have to see. I don't have an answer."
We don't know about you but we can't wait to hear those songs!
