Rock in Rio make Guns N Roses sign lateness clause
Wed, 06 Apr 2011
Rock in Rio have made Guns 'N' Roses sign lateness clause for their headlining performance on October 2nd.
VH1 Reports that due to the temperamental nature of frontman Axl Rose and his previous track record with punctuality, especially at last summers Reading & Leeds Festivals in the bands show in Ireland.
The band have agreed to pay a fine should they arrive onstage later than scheduled, we imagine the fine will have to be a substantial figure to protect the promoters reputation and enough to make a dent in Rose's budget should be choose to ignore it.
When Guns N Roses last played Rock in Rio they turned up 2 hours late, the festival are hoping to not only protect the promoters investment but also the fans who have paid alot of money to see the show who could be in danger if crowds start to riot which has happened in past situations involving Guns N Roses' failures to stick to stage times.
We'll see in October.
