Former Black Sabbath drummer Bev Bevan will play charity gig in Birmingham

Birmingham Mail newspaper have reported that former Black Sabbath (and ELO)
drummer Bev Bevan will play an charity show in Birmingham to collect his Broad Street star, when he becomes the 22nd celebrity to be honoured by the Broad Street Walk Of Stars.
The Walk of Stars started four years ago and the drummer's star will join other honoured musicians who have already joined the Hall of Fame including the one and only Ozzy Osbourne on April 28th. All money from the charity show will be donated to the Birmingham Mail Charity Fund which helps local causes (since 1889).
Talking to Birmingham Mail, Bev Bevan said, "I am very honoured and proud to receive this star and to be following in the footsteps of some fantastic talent from Birmingham. Some of my great mates in Jasper Carrott and Tony Iommi are on the Walk of Stars and it’s great to be joining them."
