Iron Maiden line up "won't be changing any more"

Wed, 13 Apr 2011

Iron Maiden's current line up has remained the same now for the past 11 years since Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith rejoined the band and guitarist Dave Murray believes the current line up will see them to the end.

"It’s strongest and most creative lineup Maiden has ever had. Also, it’s my favourite lineup, and it’s the same for most of the other guys. There’s a chance for everyone to play and enjoy what they’re doing; everything glues together really well. We won’t be changing any more." he explains to Florida's The Daily Loaf.

Maiden are currently touring South America where they filmed a new Live DVD in Chile and Argentina as 'The Final Frontier World Tour' makes it way across the globe before heading to play more US shows, the British metallers will then return to their home soil for the UK leg of the tour in the summer.

Fans hoping for a new album will have to wait a while as the Murray also adds that if there will be a next record it "Possibly there will be, but it’s hard to say at the moment. It definitely won’t be next year." he then added, "My gut feeling is once we sit down, if everyone’s up for it—that’s the main thing—then we’ll go for it."

We had a look around on YouTube for videos from the South American shows, here's a fan filmed video below:
