Ozzy Osbourne to receive "Legend" award and play a 30th Anniversary show for Kerrang Magazine

This June, Ozzy Osbourne will play a one off show at London's Hammersmith Apollo to help Kerrang Magazine celebrate their 30th Anniversary to coincide with recieving the "Legend" award at this summers Kerrang Awards, which will be once again hosted by Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian.

Kerrang Editor Nichola Browne said about the event, "We are privileged that the Prince of Darkness can help us mark this momentous milestone in style and it’s guaranteed to be a night to remember."

Ozzy, formerly from Birmingham, will be honoured by the magazine on June 9th at the award ceremony and he's excited to receiving the award, "It's an incredible honour to be the second recipient of Kerrang!'s Legend Award," he tells the magazine, "and I'm looking forward to you all going 'fucking crazy' at the 30th Anniversary party at the Hammersmith Apollo!"
