Motley Crue let the fans pick their setlist for upcoming US tour

Tue, 19 Apr 2011

Last month Motley Crue announced their upcoming summer US headlining tour taking Poison and the New York Dolls along with them (see video below)

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Motley Crue this year, the band will let their fans pick the setlist!

Posting on their website and social networking pages they announced, "
This year we want to put the setlist in your hands. Click on the link below and vote for your favorite 15 songs to be heard on this summer's tour."

Fans can vote for their favourite songs here.

Bassist Nikki Sixx is excited to get back out on the road as he took to his Twitter account last night to tell his followers about the upcoming tour rehearsals, "CRUE band rehearsal starts this week. Fucking excited. 30 fucking years. Yeahhhhhhhhh."

If fans think after 30 years of Motley's ups and downs they might expect this to be the band's last tour, don't worry.  In a recent interview with Spinner.com, Nikki Sixx spoke about his own solo project and new book 'This is gonna hurt', the bassist revealed he believes that "I truly feel that Mötley Crüe have some of our best days ahead of us. It's hard work, but it's exciting."
