Steven Tyler to release solo single and new Aerosmith album

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will release his first U.S solo single on May 9 as a digital download, reports Billboard..jpg)
The track, entitled '(It) Feels So Good' was writter by Tyler and long term collaborator Marti Frederiksen and recorded in Los Angelas.
The music video will debut on an upcomming episode of American Idol, where Tyler currently sits on the judging panel.
Billboard reports that the track won't appear on an upcoming album; for the moment, it's a stand-alone.
It is also reported that Aerosmith have already started work on their new album. The band (minus Joe Perry) have started preparing songs for the follow up to 2004's 'Honkin' on Bobo.' Although it is understood the band will regroup in the summer to continue work on their fithteenth studio album.
Meanwhile, Tyler has again spoken about his audition with Led Zeppelin. In 2008, the singer was one of a number of musicians who sang for Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham when they were looking for a frontman to replace Robert Plant.
