Radiohead are to perform their new album 'King Of Limbs' to the world via a live televised broadcast, it will mark the first time the album has been played live to the p
ublic. The band also performed their 2008 smash 'In Rainbows' in the same fashion.
Worldscreen reports that BBC Worldwide, who are responsible for a wide range of commercial activities that are primarily connected in some way with the output and public purposes of the main BBC, will distribute the exclusive performance internationally.
The show will be titled Radiohead - The King Of Limbs: Live from the Basement and will see Thom York and co perform their eighth studio album in its entirety and is also set to include some behind the scenes footage.
Nigel Godrich, who is the bands engineer and producer and who is also the mastermind behind the "From The Basement Series' will oversee proceedings. The intimate 55-minute show in which bands literally perform in a basement will air on July 1st 2011.

It has also been reported that Dilly Gent, who has commissioned many of the band's videos and Grant Gee who filmed the Radiohead documentary 'Meeting People is Easy' will also both participate.
