Mon, 09 May 2011
Last month Slash revealed that Corey Taylor would not be the man to fill the frontman vacancy in Velvet Revolver, the Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman doesn't seem offended.
Slash admitted that "It just didn't seem to fit right to me. And he's great, and I love Corey, but it didn't seem like the answer to the VELVET REVOLVER problem." Read more about this here.
Corey Taylor spoke to a Canadian Radio station recently after hearing Slash's comments to say, "I guess it just wasn't working for him, which . . . He's Slash and he's entitled to have that, and I'm not gonna argue with him. But it was cool to just be able to get together and jam with those guys and I made some really cool friends."
At last month's Revolver Magazine Golden God's in Los Angeles, Corey Taylor teamed up with Velvet Revolver Bassist Duff McKagan's band Loaded to perform to perform a cover of Judas Priest's "Electric Eye" with the Sex Pistol' Steve Jones. Check it out from the fan-filmed footage below:
