Keith Richards discusses album plans with Jimmy Fallon

on American talk show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night and gave an interview filled of debauched rock n roll tales, the Beatles - Stones rivalry and his appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean. But among the story's of drug-laden Bentleys and giant autographed lemons there was also a tasty tidbit about Richards own plans for 2011.
When asked whether the Stones would be working together this year, Richards answered "I’m trying to nail them down, but I don’t want to crucify them."
Fallon also revealed that he had visited Richards whilst at the Germano recording studio in New York, confirming the rumours that he was working on a new material without the Stones.
"Well, I’d got to working with [drummer] Steve Jordan with The X-pensive Winos and, you know, when inspiration hits…yeah,"
he enthused. Richards went on to say that a
new X-pensive Winos album was "starting to blossom."
Richards will appear in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which hits theatres on May 20.
