A new stage show based on the turbulent life of AC/DC front-man Bon Scott is to open shortly in Australia, reports Classic Rock
The show will be called 'Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be - The Story Of Bon Scott' and tells the tale of Scott's rise from fronting The Valentines and Fraternity in the 70's through to becoming vocalist for one of the biggest rock bands in history, AC/DC.
Nick Barker, of Melbourne rock outfit Nick Barker & the Reptiles, has scored the role of telling the story of Bon Scott in the forthcoming stage production.
The show was written by Andrew Barker, who also produced 'The Man In Black -The Johnny Cash Story' and 'The John Denver Story - Take Me Home Country Roads'.
'Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be' will have a two-week residency at the Athenaeum Theatre starting July 12th. There are currently no plans to take the show on the road.
