Foo Fighters set to perform at this years MTV Movie Awards

Fresh from the universal sucsess of their seventh studio album 'Wasting Light', which claimed the #1 spot in over ten countries including the UK and the US, stadium rock colossus The Foo Fighters are set to return to the 'MTV Movie Awards' for the first time since 2005, according to MTV.com.

Dave Grohl and co will join hip hop artsists Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songs as the musical acts featured in this years live show and will be performing 'Walk' which will be the second single released from 'Wasting Light', at the June 5th ceromony.

The 2011 MTV Awards will be hosted by comedian Jason Sudeikis and will be broadcast live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
