U2's Bono & The Edge to appear on American Idol Finale

U2 band are currently on tour in the US ahead of their Glastonbury Festival appearance in the UK at the end of June and whilsts in the US Bono and the Edge will help close season 10 of American Idol on May 25th.

Band manager Paul McGuinness revealed to Billboard.com that the duo will appear on the talent show finale which is based in Los Angeles and were in rehearsals yesterday for the show.

Whilsts currently no information has been revealed to their part in the finale show a UK spokesman has told NME that they will appear alongside cast-members of the musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark".
