Wed, 25 May 2011
Last weekend Alter Bridge performed at the Rock On The Range festival i
n Columbus, Ohio.
Up until recently frontman Myles Kennedy has been on the road with Slash and announced he'd be working with Slash on the guitarists second album.
In an interview with radio station WGRD, Alter ridge bassist Brian Marshall jokingly made a please to Slash "I wanna say this to Slash…. Give me my singer back, dude!"He then revealed that Creed were talking about planning another album but they are for the time being focusing on Alter Bridge after the success of their latest album AB III.
Myles Kennedy spoke about how surprised the band were with the reaction to the album, "The subject matter on the record was such that it might have been a negative. I’m not going to lie, yeah, big surprise, we had no idea. It’s been a pleasant surprise. People’s attention spans are so different now. We weren’t sure if even anyone was going to care. The fact that people embraced the record still, after being gone for three years, was a huge surprise."
