Roger Waters puts an end to the speculation
Tue, 31 May 2011
Roger Waters has quashed any hopes of another Pink Floyd reunion by telling the BBC, quite frankly that he has "no wish to reunite with Pink Floyd ever again" reports the NME.
"I'm really glad that I was in that band for the 20 years that I was in it and I really enjoyed it," said Waters on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs show Sunday morning. "I think we did some great work together but I have no wish to do it ever again."
The comments come just two weeks after the bands mini reunion at London's O2 Arena, when he was joined on stage by former band mates David Gilmour and Nick Mason, as part of Waters 'The Wall Live' tour.
The comments are now bound to draw a line under the ever growing speculation of a full Pink Floyd that has been building ever since their unannounced May 12th performance.
The band are set to re-release re-mastered versions of the albums in their back catalogue with EMI on September 26, after resolving a dispute with the label earlier this year.
