Dream Theater to premiere new track today

Later today, Dream Theater will unveil their new track "On The Backs Of Angels" via record label Roadrunner Records YouTube Channel.

The new track is taken from the band's upcoming new album, "A Dramatic Turn Of Events", released September 12th (13th -US), which sees the first without founding member and drummer, Mike Portnoy, with new drummer Mike Mangini at the drum stool.

"I'm incredibly psyched with the way this album came out and can't wait to share it with everybody," says guitarist and producer John Petrucci.

Fans can tune into the Roadrunner Records YouTube channel from 11am (US-EST/UK-4pm) today to check out the new track.

Keyboardist Jordan Rudess, recently revealed to MusicRadar.com that new drummer, Mike Mangini didn't write the new album with the band, "Mike didn't write with us," he explained when asked if Mangini contributed to the songwriting. "Basically, we got in the studio and did our thing. We wrote songs and sent them to him. He came in and just nailed his parts. "
