The Mars Volta reveal three new tracks

Grammy award winning krautrock outfit, The Mars Volta have been prepping for their impending tour with the newly reformed Soundgarden, due to start later this month, by road testing new material under the alias, The Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group.
Whilst details of the Texans new record are sketchy, website Antiquiet has posted three new Volta tracks shot via fan filmed footage whilst touring under the Rodriguez Lopez alias.
Now, however The Volta are touring under their real name and are now including the new tracks titled, 'I’m Not Running Away' (previously known as Aegis), 'Trinkets Pale The Room' (previously known as Moon), and 'Walk The Plank' (previously known as Molochwalk) in their current set.
Earlier this year frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala revealed that the band's sixth album is almost done via his youtube account, stating: "New volta almost done. vocals done. just trying rebutcher it and add bass and finish guitar. in studio until this week then on to mexico to add more quantum entanglement to it. the sonogram of the little beast is looking very good."
The Mars Volta will be supporting Soundgarden on the following dates.
