Van Halen world tour, possibly?

Tue, 12 Jul 2011

The return of David Lee Roth at the helm of hard rock legends Van Halen will see the band perform in its original guise, minus bassist Michael Anthony, whilst performing fresh material for the first time in over 27 years when they headline this year's Soundwave Revolution in Australia.

But it has also been reported by website, Melodicrock that plans for a world tour are being put into place kicking off with the Australian Soundwave shows before re-launching in North America in November.

Word has come from within the VH camp that it is very likely the band will stay on the road throughout the year and go on to perform in Asia, South America and Europe. There is also a possibility that they will headline European festivals in the summer of 2012.

Soundwave Revolution 2011

Sep 24 – Brisbane

Sep 25 – Sydney

Sep 30 – Melbourne

Oct 01 – Adelaide

Oct 03 - Perth
