Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside/Outside AC/DC

Mon, 18 Jul 2011

Mark Evans is planning to launch his new book detailing the story of Australia's biggest musical export at Readings book shop in St Kilda, according to undercover.fm.

The books is an honest & comical look at AC/DC's rise to the upper echelons of hard rock through the eyes of the former bassist who played on albums T.N.T, High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Cheap, Let There Be Rock & '74 Jailbreak. The book also features accounts of rock ‘n’ roll figures such as Alice Cooper, Ronnie Wood, George Harrison, Gene Simmons and members of Metallica.

"The aggressive attitude that AC/DC had towards Australian bands continued when we shifted overseas. The world’s bigger bands became our new targets. Who the fuck did these pricks think they were? We saw a few of the so-called headline acts and straight away knew that we had nothing to fear."

'Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside/Outside AC/DC' is scheduled for an October release through Bazillion Points Publishers.
