Red Hot Chili Peppers wrote 70 songs for new album
Thu, 21 Jul 2011
The Red Hot Chili Peppers premiered the first track from their new album "I'm With You", titled "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" earlier this week.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Low, bassist Flea revealed that the band had written over 70 new songs for the record, but chose the tracks that fit, rather than 'the best'.

"What was important to us when we put the record together was to make sure that each song filled its own space and was not like another song on the record.
We wrote 70 songs, so it's not even necessarily all the best ones that we put on, but just the ones that occupy their own space." He explains when talking about choosing the tracks that made it onto "I'm With You"
