Ringo Starr squashes Beatles Olympic reunion rumours

Rumours have been buzzing about the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony after hints were dropped that a reunion performance of the remaing Beatles was likely to be on the card.

Ringo Starr has squashed the rumours that he and fellow Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, would team up to perform together at the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony.

Speaking at the Mojo Awards last week as he picked up the "Icon Award".
Speaking to SkyNews, when asked about the Olympic rumours,  revealing that, "I'll be touring America so I won't be doing it."
