Nikki Sixx takes on 'fan'

Wed, 03 Aug 2011

Nikki Sixx

Mötley Crüe co-founder and bassist, Nikki Sixx caused quite a stir at the Maryland's Outlaw Jam this past weekend after he dived into the crowd, mid-set, in order to stop an audience member from filming the concert, reports The Day Tripper.

Sixx launched himself at the 'fan' towards the end of 'Saints of Los Angeles' after telling one of his roadie team side stage "I'm going in" before diving into the crowd to confront the cameraman, who, according to reports had a large, professional-style camera.

The reaming Crüe members stopped playing while security guards followed Sixx into the crowd in order to halt the melee. Security then removed the 'fan' and his camera and Sixx returned to the stage and was acknowledged for his efforts by drummer Tommy Lee, "Taking care of fucking business" shouted Lee in reference to Sixx's vigilante do-it-yourself attitude toward the amateur cameraman.
