Queen to release 25th Anniversary Edition of "Live At Wembley Stadium" on DVD

In a press release earlier today, Queen have announced the release of "Live At Wembley Stadium DVD - 25th Anniversary Edition".

Set for release on 5th September, the 25th Anniversary Edition DVD will feature Queen's legendary 1986 Wembley Stadium shows, plus previously unreleased footage and bonus features.

The shows originally took place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th of July, 1986, where the band played two sold out shows at the iconic stadium.

Guitarist Brian May spoke about the upcoming anniverary "The Wembley concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us," he says, ". "We were at our height band-wise, and Freddie had developed this phenomenal way of dealing with stadium audiences. Being back home in London playing two sell-out nights was such a big, big occasion for us. None of us realised that this would be almost the last time we played together…"

Sadly, Queen only played 2 further UK concerts after the Wembley shows, the last one being August 9th at Knebworth.
