Kings of Leon attempting to block footage of Dallas show online
Thu, 04 Aug 2011
Last weekend Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill walked off stage mid set in Dallas, Texas and failed to return, complaining of heat exhaustion and dehydration, despite rumours of him being drunk.
Band mates and brother, bassist Jared, then sparked rumours of issues within the band when he took to his Twitter account to apologise to the fans and declared, "There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."
The band then cancelled the remaining 29 US tour dates but insisted they would not be splitting up.
Videos of the incident with Caleb Followill in Dallas have been removed from video sharing site YouTube by Vector Management for Copyright infringement reports rollingstone.com.
The removal of all video footage of the singers banter could be seen as a 'cover up' to obscure evidence that the Caleb Followill was infact drunk and not 'exhausted', which could lead the band into trouble as they deal with the aftershock of the cancelled tour. Although local news outlets such as Nashvillescene.com have also covered the event, see here for more.
