Deep Purple to release four out-of-print live albums

Eagle Rock Entertainment has announced the release of four out-of-print Deep Purple live sets from their 70's heyday, reports Gibson.com.
The live shows are all recorded between 1070 and 1975 and include Scandinavian Nights, In Concert 1970/1972, Live in London and The Final Concerts.
Scandinavian Nights features the line up of Ian Gillian, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and Ian Paice. Highlights from the show include "Speed King", "Wring That Neck" and a cover of The Rolling Stones "Paint It Black."
In Concert 1970/1972 was recorded for the BBC by Purple Mk II prior to the bands release of their Machine Head album, which was the English prog-rocker sixth studio offering, and includes "Highway Star," "Lazy" and "Smoke on the Water."
Live in London was recorded at the Gaumont State in Killburn, North London and features the Mk III line up of Blackmore, Lord and Paice plus singer David Coverdale and Glen Hughes and was that particular incarnations only British tour. The Live in London disc includes "Mistreated," "You Fool No One" and "Lay Down, Stay Down."
The Final Concerts, alternatively entitled Archive Alive, draws a line under the Ritchie Blackmore era of the late 60's & 70's before he went on to form Rainbow with late metal legend Ronnie James Dio. Taken from the Mk III's last European tour and mixes Stormbringer tracks with classics like "Burn," "Space Truckin’" and "Smoke on the Water."
