A whole host of hard rock and metal artists, including Motorhead's Lemmy, Devildriver, Doro and Sodom, are honouring the 20th anniversary of Metallica's eponymous fifth studio offering, 'The Black Album' by the way of a covers tribute album entitled, 'Metallica: A Tribute to The Black Album.'
The album, which was first released in 1991 and featured Metallica classics such as 'Enter Sandman' & 'The Unforgiven', will be released with the September issue of Germanys Metal Hammer magazine, released August 24. The special edition of the hard/rock and metal magazine will also feature an in-depth look at the making of the album.
The world exclusive tribute album will feature 11 unreleased tracks along with the Lemmy & Zebrahead's cover of 'Enter Sandman' which was first released in 1998.
