Former Guns 'n' Roses members will perform alongside Slash at the annual Road Recovery concert in New York City next month.

Road Recovery was set up by former artist manager and composer, Gene Bowen, who, in 1992 realised that he was facing "imminent death from an out-of-control habit." However, with the help of family, friends and music industry colleagues Gene managed to combat his spiralling demons and go onto build an organization to educate young people about the perils of addiciton.
With support of Sony Music Entertainment and Dreamworks Records, as well as mental health/substances abuse specialists, entertainment industry professionals who faced their own personal adversities, the Road Recovery Foundation, a non profit organization, was established in February 1998.
