Metallica and Lou Reed launch new website

In June, Metallica and Lou Reed announced their secret recording project together.  

The former Velvet Underground frontman, Lou Reed, previously described the collaboration as a "A marriage made in heaven."

Yesterday, www.loureedmetallica.com was launched with the image (right), although no other content is yet available.

In an interview with Rollingstone.com in June, Metallica drummer Lars said of working with Lou Reed, "I don’t think we’ve ever felt this free."

It looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to find out just what the record will sound like.
