Manic Street Preachers announce one-off December date

Manic Street Preachers will be performing a special one-off London show in December, reports GigWise.com.

The show will take place at London's O2 Arena on December 17 to coincide with the release of their definitive singles collection entitled, 'National Treasures'.

In a recent interview with XFM the band said of the show:

"There will be glitter, glamour, special guests and a ticker-tape celebration. A never to be repeated one-off visual experience encompassing 21 years of MSP with 38 songs – from 1990’s Motown Junk to (but not in order!) 2011’s The Is The Day. There will be an interval in order to top up on refreshments and like all the best parties, you’ll talk about it for years to come and your friends will wish they’d been there."

Tickets for the show will be go on sale Friday 2nd September at 9.00 am

'National Treasures' will be released on October 31 in the UK.
