New Aerosmith album to be "Raw, Nasty, Tough Rock"

Earlier in the summer, Aerosmith entered Joe Perry's home studio (Known as The Boneyard) to begin work on their 14th studio album.

Producer Jack Douglas revealed in an recent interview that the album release date was being aimed for around May 2012, and promised fans the record "Will be raw, nasty, tough rock with a good deal of the old Aerosmith tongue in cheek."

Aerosmith fans will have to wait a little while longer for the new record to be completed though as they will be hitting the road again on tour in South America and Japan throughout October, November and December but are aiming to return to the studio in January.
