Rush sign to Roadrunner Records

Roadrunner Records announced today a new worldwide partnership with Anthem Records and Prog-Rock legends Rush.

The bands Roadrunner debut will be various live releases recorded during their Time Machine Tour.

In a press release this afternoon Ray Danniels (Rush manager), said of the new deal, "We have tremendous respect for Roadrunner Records, and what Cees Wessels and Jonas Nachsin have built on a worldwide level. After years of Roadrunner pursuing the band, Tom Lipsky presented a deal that worked and the timing was right. We wanted to be at a label focused on the rock genre – and that’s Roadrunner."

Roadrunner Records chairman Cees Wessels said it was "a dream come true," to have Rush on the label.
