Van Halen finish mixing new album

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

Van Halen fansite "Van Halen News Desk" has reported that the new album has finished being mixed.

The upcoming record, will feature the band's original singer David Lee Roth, for the first time in 27 years and is set for mastering mid September.

Last month it was announced that Van Halen would no longer be hitting the road in Australia with the SoundWave Revolution tour and currently no other tour plans have been scheduled or planned.

Former singer and Chickenfoot frontman Sammy Hagar recently voiced his opinion on the bands 'comeback' saying, "They can't get it together. You know, they can't. I was there. I saw it. Eddie, doesn't matter if he's clean and sober, like they — even if he is, too much damage. They're just too wacky. They're so out of it. And it could be cool, time warpy, if they were the original band and everybody was on the same page."

Currently there is no news on the bands official website or social networking sites on the new record.
