Anthrax frontman Joey Belladonna once invited himself onto a Megadeth track whilst sharing an elevator with Dave Mustaine, according to Rock News Desk.
The reinstated metal frontman, who returned to the helm of Anthrax in May 2010, was speaking ahead of the upcoming Big 4 Yankee Stadium show about a conversation he had with Mustaine on the possibility of a collaboration.
Talking on the prospect of a working with any of the 'Big 4', Belladonna told EspyRock:
"I’m sure any of us working together would certainly make some good music. I’m not sure if any of us want to work with anyone in particular as most of the time it just seems like we’re doing our thing and they’re doing their thing, so it’s not possible.
"One time I was in the elevator with Dave Mustaine and he was working on a record, and I turned round to him and said, ‘So when should I show up in the studio to do some vocals? When are we going to do something together, man?’
"He was asking about the new Anthrax album and I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t know anything yet, no-one has told me about anything yet.’ But he says, ‘But you’re working on it, or something like that, right?’
Anthrax are to release their new album, 'Worship Music' (the first with Belladonna since 1990's 'Persistence of Time) will be released later this month.
