Rock fan changes name to Led Zeppelin II

Mon, 19 Sep 2011

A Missouri man has made rock n roll history after changing his name to Led Zeppelin II.

Recently divorced George F. Blackburn decided that the name change would signal a fresh start after finalizing his divorce from his third wife, reports STLToday.

Blackburn insists that it is something he has wanted to do for years and claims:

"Since I became Led Zeppelin, my life has improved a thousand fold."

Zeppelin says he has been a massive fan of the rock icons since seeing them live in concert in Chicago in the late 1960's.

The 'II' at the end of the name is in reference to the band's second album, 'Led Zeppelin II.'

He said: 'It's a tribute to the music. They changed my life, forever, and that's my whole reason for doing this."
