Pink Floyd to recreate Animals album cover

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

Pink Floyd's classic 1977 album Animals, which featured a floting pig looming above Battasea Power Station, will be recreated once again in real time to celebrate the launch of the 'Why Pink Floyd' reissue camapaign, reports the NME

Record company EMI, who are responsible for the mammoth campaign, planned for the original neoprene pig to take to the air but, was deemed -'un-airworthy' and so a new PVC replica has been made by Air Artists who have created all of Pink Floyd's inflatables since 1976.

The stunt will take place on Sept.26.
