Chickenfoot to hold free live web-concert today

Chickenfoot release their second album today in the US, "Chickenfoot III", and to celebrate they'll be treating their fans to a live concert via their website www.chickenfoot.us absolutely free.


Drummer Kenny Aronoff, will be filling in for Chad Smith as he continues to tour with his full time role in Red Hot Chili Peppers.

During the live show, the band will perform tracks from the new record and then answer 30 minutes of fan questions which fans can submit theirs on the bands website www.chickenfoot.us.

The live show will start at 6pm (PST) on 27th September - Which will be 2am on the 28th(GMT-UK).

Speaking about the upcoming live webcast frontman Sammy Hagar said, "These are exciting times, when a band can have the technology to allow them to perform in a state-of-the-art setting and take that performance out around the world is amazing! I'm up for that!"
