Guns N Roses get Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination

Guns N Roses have been named as one of the nominees for the 2012 induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Joining fellow nominees Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, The Cure and the Beastie Boys to name a few, the band have become eligible for induction/nomination.

Acts are eligible for the hall of fame 25 years after their first record is released.



rmer guitarist Slash was asked what would happen if they were inducted regarding the former members of the band, he replied with, "We'll cross that bridge when we get there . . . If they're gonna pass you over, I don't think it's worth worrying about too much."
