Early recordings of The Beatles with Tony Sheridan set for release

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

Fans of The Beatles will be able to add a new record to their collection as they're set to release the groups earliest recordings with Tony Sheridan.

The Telegraph reports today that the early tracks that were recorded with the singer in a German nightclub in 1961 features original drummer Pete Best also and will be made available by Time Life as a 2 CD set.

"The Beatles With Tony Sheridan: First Recordings" will compile tracks cut by the quartet, with Pete Best on drums, in Hamburg for Polydor exec Bert Kaempfert in 1961-62.

Tracks included in the release will be "Ain't She Sweet" and "Cry for a Shadow".

However, the release set for November 8th in the United States has no scheduled release for the UK.
