Rare copy of Led Zeppelin self-titled debut sells for $3,400

Thu, 13 Oct 2011

A rare copy of Led Zeppelin's 1968 self-titled debut has sold for over $3,400, reports UltimateClassicRock

The near mint copy, which carries the hard-to-come-by turquoise lettering, also features the Superhype label credits & uncorrected matrixes.

The album inludes classic Led Zep numbers 'Good Times Bad Times', 'Dazed & Confuesed' & 'Communication Breakdown.'

The seller promises only microscopic scratches on the vinyl & minimal fading on the album cover, they go on to say:

"This is the most perfect example that I have ever seen and I think that it is very unlikely that you’ll find a better one."
