"Lulu is one of the best thing's we've ever done" says Kirk Hammett

Two week's to go until the new collaboration album from thrash metal titans Metallica and former Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed is released.

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has recentlly revealed to Revolver Magazine that he feels the record "Lulu" is "One of the best things we've ever done." 

The guitarist went on to add working with Lou Reed showed them that "we could still be truly spontaneous and in the moment. We haven't been spontaneous like that for years and years and years, probably since the '80s."
