Muse donate £15,000 worth of music equipment to University

Muse will be donating music equipment worth £15,000 to a universit
y in their home county of Devon to help students get vital experience of industry standard recording skills and equipment.
The internationally successful band originally all from Teignmouth, Devon will be donating the quipment to Plymouth University to be used by music course undergraduate BBC News reports.
Professor David Coslett of the University has said, "We are proud to be associated with the band, given their significant contribution to contemporary popular music and their links to the South West and the University."
Muse were previously made honorary doctors of the arts by Plymouth University in 2008, and have agreed that the money should also go towards funding student prizes to reward gifted individuals over the next three years.
