Cult metallers Riot return with new album

Fri, 21 Oct 2011

Riot, the cult 70's power metallers led by guitarist Mark Reale, will release their first album since 2006 on Nov.22 in the form of 'Immortal Soul', reports NoiseCreep

The cult metal outfit, who have released 14 albums since their inception in 1977 with 'Rock City', are credited by many as an influence & inspiration throughout the 80's and beyond.

For the new album, Riot have reunited the classic line-up of vocalist Tony Moore, bassist Don Van Stavern, drummer Bobby Jarzombek and of course songwriter in-cheif Reale along with guitarist Mike Flyntz.

Riot have also been confirmed as the support slot on the first leg of Hammerfall's European tour this winter which kicks off on Oct.26 in Copenhagen, Denmark and finishes up on Nov.18 in Cologne, Germany.
