Metallica 3D?

Metallica may be tied up promoting their new record with Lou Reed, "Lulu" at the moment, but that hasn't stopped their plans for more Metallica projects.

Deadline.com reported last week thrash metal Titans Metallica are planning to go 3D in a self-financed project with producer Charlotte Huggins.

Whilst no further details have yet been confirmed or revealed it is said that the band are looking for a director to help create their first major film.

Currently the band have not released official details on the film.
