Slash petitions to have Rory Gallagher inducted into the Hall of Fame

Guitarist Slash has joined an online campaign to help get the late Irish Blues guitarist Rory Gallagher into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Updating his Twitter to spread the word Slash told his fans, "Please sign this petition to help get Rory Gallagher inducted into RRHF."Slash spoke of his admiration of Rory Gallagher in a documentary from Eagle Rock Entertainment, see a clip below.



The Petition was set up with the following statement, "We, the undersigned, declare that Rory Gallagher, Irish Blues guitarist and songwriter, should be inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame as soon as possible. Rory Gallagher is now eligible for induction as his first record was released more than 25 years ago."
