Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck has revealed he's working on a
secret side project.
Speaking to Metal Zone radio show in San Francisco during their recent Rockstar Enery Drink Uproar Tour slot the frontman talked about his "Metal as F**K" side project he has been working on two un-named musicians (but they plan to add a fourth).
His new band plan to record a full length album in the next few month's, speaking about what the album would sound like he says, "It's, like, far more like SLIPKNOT, PANTERA… It's metal as fuck."
He then added that the new project will let him step away from the melodic style of his full time role in Bullet For My Valentine, and insists it works for them so they won't stray from that formula. "It's nice to step out of that comfort zone and do something fucking ridiculous and not worry about what people are gonna think, because it doesn't exist yet." He says before concluding, "We wanted to go in there with kind of like a SLIPKNOT attitude of just everything… Like the 'Iowa' album — just fucking violent. Let it all out. No holds barred."
No official statement has yet been released.
